Private Pilot TrainingPrivate Pilot training package based on FAA requirements [14 CFR 61.109(a)]

To become a private pilot, you will need a minimum of 40 hours total flight time which includes:
-20 hours flight training from an authorized instructor
-10 hours solo flight time
-10 hours dual or solo

Rental Costs as of 10/2008:
-Aircraft Rental (Cessna 152) @ $95.00/hour
-Aircraft Rental (Cessna 172) @ $125.00/hour
-Instruction (flight or ground) @ $40.00/hour

 

 

Instead of paying by the hour, you can choose our Private Pilot Package:

-fixed price including fuel cost
-up to 45 hours flight time
-student priority
-includes 10 hours ground instruction

-FAA medical certificate approx. $75.00
-FAA written exam approx. $90.00
-FAA practical exam approx. $350.00

50 hours cross country (PIC)
40 hours actual or simulated instrument which includes:
-at least 15 hours instrument flight training from an authorized instructor
-3 hours practical test preparation
-250 nautical mile cross country
